I'm going through some stuff (burning CDs and not paying attention) when I saw some random credit liners on an album sleeve.
Which triggered the artist I was thinking about earlier.
Pat Boone.
Specifically, the1997 album In A Metal Mood: No More Mr. Nice Guy.
Yup. The gospel crooner himself... donned a free for all in biker leather metal album.
And it's so hokey. But you subconsciously feel your feet start moving to a mosh pit and your hands doing Dio's horns. Especially when Enter Sandman goes into Holy Diver. You can't help but look around to make sure no one is watching you jam to this album.
It's weird. It shouldn't be liked. But it can be. Fans of metal beware... this may be an album you play in your headphones and not admit is in your streaming list.
Kick ass and take names.
