Yesterday I had a close inspection of today's calendar events and after conspiring with a co-worker, I brought my Canon EOS Rebel T7i with me and got to cruise a little more around campus. Decked out with the normal kitted lens, I also had the Canon EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III Telephoto Zoom lens with me as my co-worker said she'd take me to the spots to get some great Osprey shots.
Well.. over 200 pictures later, I've got 58 to upload. Sorry; I got a little excited. Especially when there was a set of birds seemingly fighting (well, one got jumped by the other) over a fish (lunch). Plus, butterflies, orchids and a cotton plant! Oh my!
The butterflies have their own little habitat and they get fed fermenting fruit. Hence there's a couple pictures of the insects in black plastic bins with stuff in them. It's all fruit juicing together in the Florida weather. The butterflies need a drink, there it is. My co-worker laughed and said the butterflies were turning into alcoholics because what's fermenting fruit? Wine. Therefore, the butterflies are drinkers.. and her kind of great insects to keep around (she likes her liquor as well). Haha.
As far as editing, WYSIWYG, but I edited a little of the orchids.
So today's slow day ruled the hours... hopefully this won't be a sign of the times and we're either in for a shit show of a fast few months or we're going to be dead bored for the next year... Fingers crossed it's only because it's the last week of 2021...
Here's to you and yours... happy flying!!
Cheers;
